Terms of Service

Readless is a productivity tool for importing long-form content, generating AI summaries, searching your library, and creating AI-generated podcast audio. You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these terms.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating or accessing an account. You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your device and login credentials.

If you use Sign in with Apple or email-based login, you agree to provide valid information and to use the account only for yourself or your organization as permitted.

• Paid features may be offered as monthly auto-renewing subscriptions.
• Billing, free trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple under your App Store account and Apple’s terms.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in App Store account settings.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion may be forfeited when you start a paid subscription as allowed by Apple’s rules.

You may not use Readless to:

• break the law or violate another person’s rights;
• upload malicious code, spam, or abusive content;
• scrape, overload, interfere with, or disrupt our systems;
• attempt to reverse engineer or bypass security protections beyond what applicable law permits;
• use the service to process content you do not have the right to access or transform.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Readless. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, summarize, index, translate, and generate derivative audio or metadata from that content as necessary to operate the service for you.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process the content you submit.

Readless uses AI systems to generate summaries, search answers, translations, and podcast scripts. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and making your own decisions about how to use them.

Readless is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.

We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Readless at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, although we aim for a reliable service.

You may stop using Readless at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security risk, or misuse the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Readless is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Readless will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the service.
